Oh, hi there! Just a quick drop here to share my "work from home" outfit from October 2020. I posted this on my Instagram account but uploading this here because this is cute. hehe.
Walked out of 2017 with a grateful and happy heart. :) 2016 was a super tough year for me but 2017 was my great come back. Really grateful that everything that happened to me on 2017 happened because i know that everything, good and bad, will lead me to wherever the Lord plans me to be. No regrets. So funny that I was really kind of depressed last year on NYE 2017 but now, hahahaha. The difference! BRING IT ON 2018! Well, I survived 2016 kasi so ano pa ba? Ganda ganda ng 2017 ko (my 2017 was very beautiful) so I'm excited for 2018!! Thank you so much to all those who stayed by my side. I appreciate and love you. You know who you are na.

I'd probably post an annual year-ender article soon (I know, it's gonna be super late) but I'm just really busy with my freelance work. hehe. By the way, this was the outfit I wore during David's 27th Birthday Celebration. :)
This year seemed to pass by in a blink of an eye, clearly visible on this set of photos which was taken on the 1st day of January of this year. Thankfully, this week is still so festive with NYE coming in!
For a while, I've focused mostly on my interior design works and on my day job, explaining the lack of posts this space is getting which makes me a bit disappointed. But I guess it's time to step up my game and manage my time better this 2018, because I want to produce blog content consistently and not just curate my feed on Instagram.
Here's the outfit I wore to In the Mix 2017 Music Festival! Chanel and I actually took a number of outfit shots for my blog before the concert. Unfortunately though, my SD card got corrupted a few days ago and I thought I already saved all the event photos in my laptop. Apparently, I only backed up the concert proper photos and I wasn't able to save my outfit photos except for this one, which was in my VSCO photos. Too bad though, guess we just have to settle for what was left.
Literally wearing myself has been my fashion mantra for the past couple of months. Being a visual artist, I've delved into the thought of exposing myself and my work this year, hence, wearing myself would be a great idea. So when my brothers cleaned out their closets and handed me a chunk of their old shirts, I painted on them!
And what better way to showcase them than to make my closet mural my backdrop for these photos!
Say hello again to photos from my first work! I actually still have a handful of them and I'm trying to publish as much as I can so I can delete from my laptop. Anyhoo, as I look back to these past photos, all I can think of is, "Wow. I really have a lot of time to do this when I was at a 'sales' environment. So much free time! And my body looks so much better because right now, I am so thin." But I'm hoping to get my body back since I am so much happier at work now. hehe.
My love for 80s movies, specifically to Pretty in Pink, made me want to acquire a pair of round glasses similar to that of Duckie's. Actually, I had no intention of buying an expensive branded one so when a friend of mine asked me to buy him a pair in Baclaran, well, lo and behold, I ended up buying one for myself instead because he found his branded one eventually. haha. I used to walk down the eskinitas of Baclaran everyday for about 8 months because I used to commute from North to South, for real.
Rewind to last year when I was on my first job in a really big company and these pants are good as new. Too bad they are now worn out for they are one of my favorite pants to own. Obviously, cheap finds would of course be like this but it has served me well. I'm not really particular with brands to be honest and I'd wear anything, so all is good.
It's so friggin' hot in the Philippines so I'm gonna wear black and pretend like I am not sweating like a frozen food 5 minutes out of the fridge! --- okay, kidding! It wasn't that hot because I was inside the mall the entire time. :p
This ensemble is what I wore when we watched Train to Busan, like months and months ago. And since our movie time was the last full show, the stores were closing, hence, the "saradong tindahan" (closed store) backdrop. haha!
Life lately: I've delved into the adulting world and I've been drowning in it for more than a year now so I just want to fly to the moon and vanish.
It took me months to post all 6 outfits individually so I can compile them and make them into this Outfits of the Week post! So much time, but at least I was able to do it and I'm quite excited for this OOTW since it makes me reminisce on how much I enjoy planning my clothes for work, eat fast during lunch break (30 mins. | I usually eat for 45 mins to 1 hr or more), and then go straight to that "amazing white wall" at the 3rd floor to shoot.

When you love the forest and the mountains and you really want to try mountain climbing but your dad doesn't approve of that activity, this, my friends, is what happens. You dress up (on a daily basis) as if you live deep in the forest near the roots of the mountain and then you edit yourself in an illustration backdrop.
