Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines. Located in Northern Luzon, its cool temperature is a great escape from Manila's sweltering heat.

Last March 10, 2018, I went on a day tour / road trip to Baguio City with my brother, my mom, and her friends! We rented a Van for a day and we were able to explore 12 spots in Baguio City in less than 24 hours!

Sharing with you my travel diary and our Baguio day tour itinerary:

Here's a travel visual diary of the activities I experienced at Phillip's Sanctuary. Since I stayed overnight at Villa Elisha, I had an access to try out a few facilities such as their obstacle course and their zipline!

I had so much fun at this eco-adventure mountain resort because I can't figure out if I have a fear of heights or if it was just a matter of the situation I am in. Because when I did a construction site visit once, I was extremely scared and my legs were wobbling when I was walking pass the really narrow 1 foot concrete pavement to reach the 2nd floor, no harness and all, no railings yet on the staircase, just a piping or something to hold on to as means of support. So my butt was really twisting that moment. hahaha. However though, trying out the high ropes at Phillip's Sanctuary was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot!

The Philippines never fails to be amazing as it's filled with beautiful beaches here and there. And there's just so much to do in Anilao Batangas!

October last year, my Japanese cousins arrived here in the Philippines and we've decided to drive to Anilao Beach Club to Snorkle, Kayak, and just chill and relax at the beach before heading to Tagaytay! I am just the happiest at the beach!

ANG INEEEETTTTTTTTT!!!! (IT'S SOOOOOOO HOOOOOT!!)

This is probably every Filipino's dialog every minute of every hour of everyday because it really is so hot even at night. Though it's already a rainy season (July is almost here), it's still so hot!

And in lieu with Manila's sweltering temperature, here's a list on how to beat the heat, the Filipino way! --And this is not just the summer heat but the heat all throughout the year!

Many homes for sale in Tagaytay are sprouting because of the cooler climate of the city, spectacular view, and stress-free lifestyle. Apart from being a home to many beautiful houses, the city of Tagaytay is also known as one of the favorite tourist destinations of both local and foreign travelers.

Cool places around the country are perfect spots to beat the scorching heat of the sun this summer season. Here are some of the popular cool places in the Philippines that are perfect locations for unwinding this summer.

Various architectural design services in the Philippines are all working hard to create iconic buildings all over the country. This is evident with the growing number of old and new buildings that have been constructed.

December of 2014 before the end of the year and after our Iligan City Trip (I have yet to blog about it. I have a very messy blog as of the moment), my mom, along with my grandma, and my aunt & his husband went on an overnight trip in Tagaytay City. I've been in and out of Tagaytay for xxx number of times already but this was a different trip.

*WARNING: Heavy load of photos after the cut*

While I was busy with my thesis practicum design project (eeep. it's my first ever real design project before graduation!), I got an invite to the Philippines International Furniture Show (PIFS) 2015. Of course I said yes even if it meant squeezing in my tight schedule and working harder (school stuff <not to mention it was my prelims week> + practicum) to be able to go to this HUGE furniture show!

To be honest, I never really heard of PIFS before only until after I got an invite that I found out that it's a united showcase of the Philippine furniture industry that features premier names in furniture, lighting, interior design, and home decors wherein they will showcase their best and latest creations and is a one-stop-shop for international buyers, famous personalities, trade buyers and local icons for their furniture needs.

They told me that it would be the honor of the Philippine furniture and design industry if I could feature PIFS 2015 here on my blog but I believe that that's not the case. Because it was, in fact, a great honor for someone like me to have had this great opportunity to be in this 4-day event.

The Santo Niño procession will never ever be the same again.

This year's procession was the first of the many years to come without the presence of my cousin. The candies we threw at people and the nilagang mani (steamed peanuts? i'm not so sure. haha) top the most memorable stuff in the procession that reminds me of him.

Photos from last January 25,2015 for our annual Santo Nino de Atocha procession. :3 We don't have uniform shirts this year too. Also, notice how we don't have photos of ourselves in this year's procession? see 2013 and 2014.

This Christmas gift shop is so wonderful I'm not sure if it's just for show or if it's open to the public to enter and shop! But I'm guessing it's just for photo-taking, unfortunately.
