A few days after the release of the Mockingjay in the big screen here in the Philippines, my brother and I went on a "date" and watched it together. Thesis just got finished so I wanted to unwind in whatever way possible. haha. :) Well, technically, I'm the fan of the trilogy so yeah, my treat. lol.  I can't believe that they gave us a Mockingjay poster upon buying the tickets. score! :-)

Obviously, this is another late post as Mockingjay was shown last month. I am trying to post as much backlogs as I can. So anyway, this was my outfit on that day. I was supposed to wear my Mockingjay necklace from Personalized Accessories (see here) but then I forgot to wear it. How careless & stupid of me. I'm not trying to imitate Katniss Everdeen in this outfit, rather, I'm translating my feelings to the story in this outfit. I'm still very girly despite the rebellion. haha!

Hey everyone, so I took a little break from thesis and I took a Hunger Games test (hahaha) to find out which district I belong to. I answered it as honestly as possible and to my great astonishment, I belong to district 12! Cool! I'm actually open to being a resident in other districts buy yeah, I guess Gale and I are really meant to be. LOL.

TEAM GALE FOREVER! huhuhu.

If you're a long time reader, you know by now how much I support Gale. ehe~
Anyway, my thoughts are all over the place right now and I must get back to thesis. November is about Hunger Games ranting and fangirling so I'm apologizing in advanced.

Have a great week and thank you so much for all the well wishes, "lucks" and prayers you guys are sending me for my thesis. I really do appreciate. Few more weeks left! :")

For the sake of my fangirling life, here is the official trailer of Mockingjay Part 1! :)

Me while watching the trailer:
++Goosebumps
++I have no idea what's happening to my heart

My thoughts:
OMG! OMG! OMG! I am so not ready to see this on the big screen 'cause like, I'm still on a thesis mode right now and with this trailer, I might just have ruined the mood. huhu. Also, I'm not yet ready to see Finnick's future. huhuhu. But the thing is, I did not really like the book that much so I may love the movie... who knows? Oh gosh, I'm so excited for this I will even treat my brothers so I have someone to watch the mockingjay with me on theaters! haha. In case you didn't know, I watched Catching Fire alone...and it wasn't that fun.

So anyway, if there's someone out there who's a big fan of The Hunger Games as big as me, then please let me know. Better yet, shoot me an email so we won't spoil anybody while we rant on our feelings towards the story. haha!

P.S. I'm watching Catching Fire for the nth time while working on my thesis! I'm drafting the Theater lobby's perspective. :")

Since Catching Fire is about to hit the big screens, I feel that it is a must to express my fan-girling life towards Katniss and Gale the best way possible! Like, OH MY GOSH! Whatever happens, I AM TEAM GALE!!!! <3

It was a big disappointment for me that the movie cut the best scene of Gale and Katniss in the Hunger Games. :( You see, in the book, after the reaping and before Katniss and Peeta were sent to the Capitol, Gale was about to express his love for Katniss when suddenly a peace keeper took him away. It ripped my heart because Katniss never knew though I know and feel that she knows and feels the love. Haha.

I'm really disappointed with myself because I still can't finish all these books! I have tons of books and Interior Magazines to read and not to mention, the e-books.. but sadly, I just can't find the time to do it which is ironic because stopping school and all, I'm free since June!! I guess being fond of so many things hinders my bookworm self. ugh. I just can't manage my time to do all the things I love ---- painting, dancing, revamping clothes, doing crafts, designing, reading, writing, eating, sleeping, doing movie marathons, and daydreaming. Right now, I still can't believe how busy I had been since I stopped from doing plates! 24 hours is definitely not enough for me. But anyway, I just want to share these unfinished books and e-books of mine. Thought you might like them. :)

Hello everyone! It's 3:59am and I'm still awake but about to go to sleep. I just finished reading Catching Fire and read it for only 2 nights! I finished reading The Hunger Games a few days ago and if you'll do the math, I've finished two of the books in Suzanne Collin's Fantastic Trilogy in less than a week! GOSH  I SERIOUSLY HATE MYSELF FOR HAVING NO SENSE IN STOPPING MYSELF FROM READING AND FINISHING A BOOK even if it means no sleep, no food, and not even a bathroom break! See how addicted I am? Anyway, I just have to let this out because my heart is torn into pieces as all my emotions emerged in reading Catching Fire. OHMGEEEE!!! Hands-down to Suzanne Collins! Gosh, I'm so addicted that I even dreamed about this last night! (more appropriately, last dawn). Anyhow, I'm not gonna talk about the events and my thoughts just yet because I'm planning to do some book reviews. Also, I'll probably not read the Mockingjay this week because I need to sleep.

P.S. If you're wondering about my new hair do, I just want to let you know that I just tucked the front part of my hair short and placed it at the back! Never had a chance to have a full bangs in my lifetime really because the salon people never allow me because of my natural curls. But I'm still getting my hopes up so I just wanted to know what I will look like. haha.

How are you tributes? :) So, after my fairytale story, I'm now a tribute in the Hunger Games! 'May the odds be ever in MY favor!' hahaha :)) If you've been reading and following my blog, you know very well that I'm a huge fan of Hunger Games as seen on these posts, right?

For my new followers and readers, I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games that's why I labeled myself as
"The Ballerina on Fire" in reference to Katniss Everdeen as 'The Girl on Fire'.
Oh, and I just finished watching The Hunger Games for the nth time today. hahaha

Phillips Collection's Seatbelt chairs, constructed of hand-weaved industrial seat belt material over a wooden frame, appear in this spring's hot movie The Hunger Games.

Call it weird but, I do have an eye of an eagle when it comes to the furniture pieces
and the interiors featured in movies. I always notice these things... kind of funny really.

Anyway, when i was watching THE HUNGER GAMES movie, i can't help myself but notice
the marvelous whimsical lime green Tribute Tower Chairs that they used as Dining Chairs!
They were really marvelous and eye-catching!
The unique design was really fascinating and i just can't get it off my mind!

Upon arriving at the Capital, Katniss Everdeen is shown to her penthouse suite where she'll stay the few days prior to the Games. A lingering camera reveals images of a spacious room decorated with brightly colored modern furnishings set against dark metal colored walls and floor. Among the furniture was a set of Phillips Collection Seatbelt dining chairs in green arranged around a table.

Mandy Hayden, lead designer at Phillips Collection, said the company was unaware its Seatbelt chairs would be in the movie until about three weeks before its release.

"We got a call from one of our customers telling us," Hayden said. "Apparently, our customer's son was reading a copy of the book with pictures from the movie in it, and they saw our chairs in one of the pictures."

Hayden traced the chairs' purchase to designer Margaret Hungerford (seriously), who was working for Ludus Productions, based in Concord, N.C. According to The New York Times, Margaret Hungerford has also worked in various set and costume design positions on other movies including Minority Report, Leatherheads and Contagion.

FUN FACT: The Hunger Games was filmed entirely in North Carolina, according to The Washington Post.

And look! It's also available in pink. Really cute huh? :))

These seat belt chairs are just fantastic! I would definitely want to use them in my designs soon! :">

They will soon be available in Pure Home so watch out! yay! Ü
