I don’t know about you, but I am a girl who likes luxury, especially when it comes to interior design. I am a real fan of fancy hotel-style decor, as I love the glamorous and luxury look and feel that comes with it.

I have noticed that for many homeowners, one room that often gets forgotten is the bathroom. While the rest of the house is immaculately designed, often, homeowners forget about the bathroom. This is because many people think of the bathroom as a functional space, instead of somewhere stylish.

I once talked about curtains and I had so much fun! hehe.

So now I'm sharing some different style ideas on curtains which is perfect for the teenagers (and the young at heart too).

A lot of home makers, home enthusiasts, decorators, and the like usually take curtains and draperies for granted; leaving these home decors the last consideration in their spaces. However, as an interior design student, studying for this degree has thought me that curtains and draperies are as important as the wall color and the lighting.

First of all, window treatments take at least 30% - 60% of your spaces depending on how many windows you have. In some cases, if you're living in a glass house, 99% of your space will have to be all about draperies and curtains!

With that said, I'm gathering inspirations for window treatments. For today, it's all about black and white since this shade and hue is a timeless classic! Perfect for all types of design styles ranging from the very clean minimalistic style to the every so heavy and beautiful traditional design style.

Curtains are more than just a piece of decoration for the home. They play an important role in blocking the heat of the sun that enters your house and they are an important element in designing for they can give an impact to the whole interior design of your house.

I am currently working on my practicum and although it's not practical to buy online for the short amount of time left for my first design project, still I went browsing online for beautiful curtains for the home. At least I'll have some inspiration.

So where to buy curtains online?

One of the most beautiful things in this world is being able to bring the outside in through interior design! One of the things I truly love is the forest (nature) and living in it is one of my dreams. However, let's face it, literally living in the forest is not possible unless you've decided to isolate yourself from the city for good. Fortunately for me, I'm an interior design student who's keen to modernize things and twist the norms a bit.

Is sleeping in the forest possible even if you're in the middle of the busy streets of the city? Do you have to use a wild amount of plants to re-create the forest in your room? What if you want a minimalist style but still want to feel like you're living in the forest? Is a rugged and a dirty look necessary for the forest-like room? Where do you start? How do you do it?

Here is a wishlist for my room (or perhaps for all you PINKaholics out there). Pink Animals exhibiting cuteness! To tell you the truth, I still collect stuffed toys and plushies even if I am no longer a kid. I think the nostalgia they give is enough to make an interior space worth spending time in. And because as you all know, I am a "mermaid" and these octopus plushies are definitely a must-have! Also a fast way to change a room's design without too much labor and too much splurging is through these cuties. So better buy one now! :) Anyway, the lady poodle portrait is perfect for a girly yet elegant room and that giraffe wall decal is perfect for that wall in which you want to decorate but don't want to permanently paint.

Pastel Houses? I think they are the loveliest houses in the world even if they don't have the most amazing architecture ever. The pastel color itself made them pretty and lovely.

Aside from dreaming of living in a cottage-like house near the beach, I've also been dreaming of living in a pastel house... from the exterior features up to the interiors, pastels, pastels, pastels! I think that pastel houses are relaxing and calming, and also very girly that's why I love staring at them. I haven't seen personally a village filled with pastel houses and I am not sure if something like that exists here in my country. But hopefully, when I am travelling around the world in the near future, I'll be able to find one. :"3

I've been in love with the beautiful curves and the uniqueness of the Panton chair since I found out about it in our Furniture Design class. This chair for me is one of the most beautiful designs ever created that's why I've been using it in my design projects in school. :)

One of the things I did aside from enjoying the food at Buffet 101 was adoring the beautiful and interesting interior of the place. The cove lights were dramatic enough that I think they make the food more appetite friendly. :) The suspended ceiling design was also very interesting (see first photo)! And the crystal bead curtain was a nice and elegant divider.
