I dyed my hair half pink and half blue!

Hello, hello! I dyed my hair half pink and half blue last April 26, 2019 and I'm enjoying my life! lol.

Change is inevitable. Change is overwhelming. For the past months, I didn't like what was happening in one aspect of my life and that gave me a very difficult time. But I'm doing okay now and I'm moving forward even if I'm picking up my shattered pieces alone this time. I'm no longer hurting as much as I did months ago. The one last push of letting what I feel out somehow helped me have a peace of mind. And even though I don't know exactly why it was happening, acceptance is the key. Letting go and letting God is all I needed to be okay.

I guess that pushed me to finally dye my hair half pink and half blue. Well, I've always wanted to dye my hair boldly so that's what I did. :)

I spent about 4 hours in the salon to dye my hair half pink and half blue. This wasn't my first time to get my hair bleached (2015 was my first time) so I know already what to expect and what to do for the care and maintenance so I wasn't frightened. hehe.

Getting the roots bleached is extremely painful especially if you're a first timer but as for me, I'm good.

It's normal for the hair to dry out and become barbie hair after bleaching so hair care is a must! Conditioner and oil is my best friend after bleaching! Purple shampoo as well for toning it.

I didn't get my hair straightened fyi but it was blow-dried and I didn't wash it for 2 days. So relax, I'm still curly-haired nothing new. :) Anyway, here's a bunch of selfies:

The blue looks different under different lighting.

This is what it looks like curly.

And then it faded when I swam in the river and turned into gray. I love it still. But currently, I am toning my hair using purple shampoo so the gray now is a bit different.
